Vitalina Batsarashkina has cardinal powerful passions in life: Shooting air pistols, and The Witcher. And as she demonstrated over the weekend at the Capital of Japa Olympics, she's very good at some: She wore a Witcher medal while competing in the event, and she South Korean won a gold medal.

She doesn't look to have mangy the palm during the medal ceremony (not visibly, at to the lowest degree), but that's understandable. Knowing the Olympics, there's probably a rule against information technology.

This isn't the freshman time that Batsarashkina has got into competition wearing Geralt's famous bling. American Samoa rumored by Kotaku, she wore a Witcher medallion and Witcher-themed shooting glasses at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro Diamond State Janeiro, where she won metal. An mental image from that competition also successful the rounds on Twitter now, initially for Batsarashkina's super-chill shooting stance—at least until someone noticed the medal dangling from her pants.

And her fandom International Relations and Security Network't strictly an along-field thing, either. Have a look at the shirt in that epic tweet. (I want one of those shirts, incidentall.)

Naturally, her taste in shot gear came to the attention (and earned the approval) of The Witcher studio CD Projekt Red:

As for Batsarashkina's seemingly casual stance, which might seem out of identify at this top-tier level of international competition, there's a good reason for it: Reported to Twitter user @joedobner, it's every last about calmness and control. "When you're shooting as precisely as that, your heartbeat throws murder your aim," they explained. "Thusly they stand as relaxed arsenic possible and still maintain a firm stance."

A quote from former Indian competitive hitman Suma Shirur along the Olympics.com website says much the same affair: "If I have to control the bowel movement, hold my consistency steady, at the unchanged situatio for a long period, I need a lot of brawn endurance. That needs much of strength. For that, you need to have good fitness."

Good gearing in all probability helps, too.

Update: As a couple of tart-eyed readers have pointed out, that's not actually a School of the Wolf medallion that Batsarashkina is wearing, Eastern Samoa I primitively thought—it's School of the Cat, the palm worn by Ciri. Unless my eyes have gone seriously bad, though, the medallion she wore in 2016 is definitely Cultivate of the Masher.
