1. Instructions in English:
1.- Mount image.
2.- Run 'setup.exe'.
3.- Select 'License Manager' component, install it.
4.- Don't specify the 'License File Location' yet, 'Cancel' it. 'Finish'.
5.- Back to the components selection window, select 'Product Installation', install the 'Complete' setup type. Don't specify a 'License Server' deleting all the text from the 'License Server' text field leaving it blank.
6.- After setup is complete, 'Finish' without ticking any of the two checkboxes.
7.- Close the Cadence product components window.
8.- Copy everything inside ' aspirin>Cadence ' to the ' LocalDiskDrive:\Cadence ' directory, replacing the files in the LocalDiskDrive: with the ones in the aspirin directory.
9.- Run 'Tools.cmd', located inside: ' LocalDiskDrive:\Cadence\SPB_16.6\tools ', as admin.
10.- Open 'src.lic', located inside: ' LocalDiskDrive:\Cadence\LicGen ', with the notepad and replace the text: " this_host " with the name of the computer, and save the change and close it.
12.- Run 'LicGen.cmd', located inside: ' LocalDiskDrive:\Cadence\LicGen '.
13.- Now open the installed License Server Configuration utility and 'Browse…' for 'license.lic' (LocalDiskDrive:\Cadence\LicGen) under 'License File'; click 'Next >' and then again. If it gives an error and doesn't take it: On 'System' (PC>Properties), go to Advanced System Settings Properties>'Advanced'>'Environment Variables…' and look for the 'Variable': "LM_LICENSE_FILE" and make sure its 'Value' is pointing to the created.dat license file.

I did everything exactly as in the video and it works untill I shut down my laptop. When I turn on the laptop again it says something like "The execution code can't continue because cdn_og1101as.dll. hasn't been found. This problem can be solved reinstalling the program." it show the same advice with cdn_ot1101as.dll. , cdn_RWUXThemeS80.dll. and cdn_sfl401as.dll. and I tried putting the direcction of the file for orcad in the PATH in the "enviroment variables", then I could open the program but every time I was going to open or create a file it pop-up a "error(orcap-1028)" advice. Has anyone has the same problem and solved it or knows how to solve it?

Hey, thanks dude!! It's working perfectly!! But I didn't follow the video, I followed the PDF tutorial "HowToInstall" that comes with the archives. I had to make some adjustments, but it's all intuitive! Tks again, bro :D

loc dam bản 16 nó k có layout như bản 9. Với 10. Đâu em

everything worked perfectly even at the end it showed the license server stated successfully but whenever i launch the "Design Entry CIS" it launches the Lite Version not the one showed in the video ! help please !

1) Is there any other link from where I can download your .iso file?
2) I had downloaded from other site and face the below problems,
a) When I run Tools.cmd, ir runs only for a flash and not fro 1 - 5 mins, as mentioned by you. May be my download is not proper.
b) After I configure the License server, and it completes the installation, nothing is running, it it says "No License found"
2) Hope it can run on Windows 7 Home Premium
3) Which s/w do you recommend / use for mounting the iso file?

mm try: go to environment variables. there are two parts, user variables and system variables, go to system variables and CDS_LIC_FILE, copy that value to CDS_LIC_FILE but this time in the user variables (that maybe is empty)?? I had the same problem but with this, was fixed, then run the program just fine.

I entered my PC Name correctly, still it is not working.

As you said in the instructions, I did not found any 'LM_LICENSE_FILE' in system environment variables.

open LicenseManager and replace your folder address, something like G:\Soft\Cadence Orcad v16.6\aspirin\Cadence\LicGen\yourlicense.lic

i resolved that problem. The license it's ok in the server utility, but when i launch capture.exe the program can't start because it can't found license.

Are you follow this step ?

1 là copy thiếu 2 là crack sai rồi, nhớ sửa đúng tên host là tên pc nha

open src.lic, replace YourHostName to your computer name and cr@ck again

I just installed this cadence 16.6 successfully in my laptop. Now I want to open my board file, it keep crashing when opening CM. My board file was done somewhere else using updated hotfix 16.6. I just want to know if this cracked cadence can be updated (install hotfix). Help me mr Son Vu masta...

it wont load a new the lmcrypt is just not working at all. even if i run it as admin it doesnt write anything on the license.lic
